History of Rock & Roar

Rock & Roar Creative was officially created in 2017, by freelance artist Amy Scheidegger. Before 2017, Amy worked as a designer and illustrator in Philadelphia while earning her Masters in Arts Administration at Drexel University. The Arts Administration program, which heavily focused on leadership in the arts, was the first step of many in Amy becoming an arts advocate, a public speaker and the founder of a design/illustration firm that would concentrate on collaborating with organizations rooted in community service.

Rock & Roar Creative’s guiding principle is to lend design and consulting expertise to organizations on a mission to serve underserved communities and audiences. We believe that art & design don’t “give” the oppressed a voice. The oppressed have always had a voice, they’ve just been ignored. We aim to AMPLIFY those voices and stories via clean, powerful design.

There is no magic wand of infinite time. Value yourself and your relationships enough to just get shit done.
— the Rock and Roar motto
